Unlimited int’l calls now $10 a month

That’s for unlimited calling to 34 countries—pretty nice, although you’ll be mostly restricted to calling landlines. Meanwhile, the price for the North America-only calling plan has crept up a bit.
According to Reuters (via Yahoo! News), the $10-a-month international calling plan lets you make calls to landlines in countries such as Australia, China, Germany, Japan, and the United Kingdom. (Click here for the complete list.)

For most countries, you’ll have to make calls to landlines, although you’ll be able to call cell phones in Canada, China, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Meanwhile, there’s also a new $6/month plan that lets you call landlines in Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey, while calls to landlines elsewhere in Mexico go for two cents a minute (or 20 cents/minute to cell phone numbers).

Finally, there’s a new $3/month unlimited calling plan for U.S. and Canadian landlines and cell phones—not bad, but at about $36 a year, it’s a bit pricier than the previous $30/month North America unlimited calling plan.

Of course, Skype-to-Skype calls are still free as can be.

So, I’m curious—how many Skype users out there have paid subscriptions for landline/cell phone calling? And who’s tempted by the new $10/month international calling plan?
